I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.

My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?

It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.

And mostly, I can.

I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂

But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you?? 

DUH!

And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:

Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:

  1. Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!

  2. No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

    Hi Nagi! I know you are on hiatus from creating new recipes at the moment, but I do have a request for when you are back to creating fabulous recipes!
    I would LOVE a reliable way to make crispy sweet potato fries. After having made your consistently crispy potato french fries I know you will have some great ideas and tips for no fail crispy sweet potato fries! (It’s been the bane of my existence for some years now.)
    Thanks for all the great recipes Nagi. You have really changed my life, and that of my entire family (for the better)!

    Nagi, I would like you to do a recipe for chicken dansak. Also, a recipe for an Indian shorba (it’s a vegetable gravy) that’s served besides biryani. I’m not sure that’s exclusively an English thing.

    I would love a Bo Kho soup recipe. I LOVE the laksa recipe. When I bought the laksa paste, I found that Por Kwan has spicy beef flavoured paste. So, help! How do I make it awesome? TY

    Nagi, could you please write a small batch jam recipe for using up leftover fruit? The recipes I’ve seen in the internet don’t give a sugar-to-fruit weight ratio. I’m sure you can do much better.

    Have been loving trying out the recipes. Could you do more “fakeaway” recipes? Tired of getting catfished, paying a fortune for disappointing food. Would love a KFC inspired recipe like a zinger burger or even how to make their chips! 😃

    I’d love a Yule Log recipe. I’ve made Nigella’s a couple times, but it’s a trial following the recipe. I’ve also strayed from tradition & hide sixpences & threepences in the cake after it’s cooked. I feel you’d have straight forward instructions, plus a video.
