Request a recipe!

I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.

My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?

It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.

And mostly, I can.

I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂

But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

Recent Reader Favourite Recipes - Tikka Masala, Pastrami, Pad Thai

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??

DUH!

And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:

WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?

Drop your requests in the comments section below!

Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:

  1. Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!

  2. No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

    Hey Nagi,
You have turned my cooking from decent into consistently delish! I may have to buy some bigger clothes if I keep making your cookies…

Anyway, we have been given a big old container of venison and am thinking a fab slow cooker stew would be amazing – any suggestions for which recipes might be adapted well would be spectacular!

P.s Brookie can go and boil her head! I loved picking ‘Dinner’ up of the shelf and taking it up to the counter…next stop ‘Tonight.’ Love your work. My wife calls you my ‘other woman,’ and may be a little jealous of how much I rave about your recipes.

    Thanks heaps!!!

Would love to learn how to make oatmeal that actually tastes good! Like the kind you get at cafes that is the perfect texture and has toppings like stewed apples, cinnamon, etc. Or overnight oats that actually taste good (without chia seeds which are horrible)!

I hope this is an easy one. In Yaletown Brewery Vancouver they serve up french fries with some sort of fresh minced garlic parsley amd grated parmesan topping . I swear we kept the viruses and other people away chowing down on those

Nagi, have you encountered Chicken Express deep fried mushrooms? They were a favourite, growing up in western suburbs of Sydney! I don’t think that shop is around anymore. 🤔 and I’ve lived in QLD for 10+ yrs. But, a replica of that would be delightful! 🥲 the memory of them live in my mind, rent free.

There was a Thai restaurant in Gladesville that made Goong Ob Woon Sen, prawns with glass noodles, ginger chilli , soy and some veg.
I haven’t seen it at any others restaurants and even years after the Star of Thailand closed.
You do such an amazing job bringing recipes into an ordinary kitchen, I’d love to see (and taste) your version
