Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

Life of Dozer

Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

I would love to make the Spicy Chilli Chicken, the Korean Fried Chicken like they serve at Strathfield Sports Club. I would prefer to bake rather than fry the chicken. I remember how you you cleverly developed a method to bake rather than fry Buffalo Wings, a similar would be excellent. Love the recipe for the sauce in particular. Thank you 🙏

Hi! First of all thank you for your IG posts and your blog, I’ve never tried so many recipes from a food blogger before! I know it’s very specific but I ask anyway, is it possible to have an Asian Beef Noodle Soup recipe? That’s the main thing I can think about right now. Thank you again! ♡

Hello from BC Canada! I have to say since finding your site about 7 months ago, you are now my go to when I am looking for good recipes. I also love your videos and then there is Dozer!! He is so sweet and I enjoy seeing what he is up to. I would enjoy to see more recipies using healthy fats and less sugar or even Stevia or Swerve as the substitute for sugar. Healthier if possible. But my biggest request would be for you to keep them coming as you have been, I can substitute the sugar and I do enjoy your recipes. Thank you

Other then wanting to be Dozer and totally spoiled by a great chef, how about you request our favorites, evaluate them and then share them around the world?

That way you get a break during this pandemic BS.

Love your recipes! I have a son who can’t eat gluten. Can you recommend any dinners that are gluten-free?

I have loved your recipes and photos of Dozer! I’d like to know a recipe for the Australian meat pies that seemed to be available at every bakery when we visited Australia many years ago. They were the BEST!

Hi Nagi, thank you for asking what we want. I am trying to eat a more plant-based diet so I’d love more meatless recipes. I know this won’t appeal to all your subscribers though. I totally appreciate your comments about lockdown. We’re all in a different place geographically and therefore restriction-wise. I just hope we all can get the vaccine soon and can be healthy and able to travel again. Happy New Year and enjoy the sun and warmth.

I’d love more fish recipes and a really good ravioli recipe made from scratch since my DIL has asked me to cook it with her soon.

Can you do a replicate of vietnamese rolls please!!! Chicken roll, roast duck rolls, different rolls 😂😂😂😂😂 with all the condiments that come with it like vietnamese mayo, vietnamese pate, pickle veg, sauce and whatnot!! I love it but since became a Muslim, I no longer can consume these rolls as they always have pork and I’m dying to try and make my own!!!

I am a vegan and it seems most recipes call for a shopping trip at the health-food store for specific ingredients. This can get expensive. Any low cost, easy to make vegan main course meals would be nice. Thank you – I love your content!

Happy New Year Nagi, you are still the first person I go to When looking for recipes. Found out that my 13 year old Grandaughter Jas also likes your recipes. She is becoming a very good cook. At my age I am into easy fast recipes. Wholesome salads, BBQs for summer and Slow cooker leave and eat. Maybe more vegetables less meat. Fingers tossed for a better year. Cheers
